When we all started doing this Wiki we put all stuff that represents who is Jay Gatsby. We are going to name all the stuff we put and explain why we think it fits Gatsby, so hang on to your seat cause we got a lot of stuff that is going to be explained to you. Enjoy reading it Mrs.Smith hahaha.

Main PageQuote on the front page: We put up a quote by Shakespeare about love. We thought it fit because Gatsby is so in love with Daisy. We think it means Gatsby's love is deeper then her gorgeous looks and loves her for whats within.

The Great Gatsby picture: We put this picture because it shows that even after five years that Daisy and Gatsby have been apart they still have a connection, and they still love each other no matter what. It shows they still like spending time together too.

PhotographyThe Yellow Royce and the Huge Mansion Picture: These two picture shows that after Gatsby went to the war, Gatsby came back with a lot of money. It shows that Gatsby's life after the war brought him success and wealth. With all this wealth he wants to win Daisy back from Tom Buchanan.

Daisy's Picture: The picture that we put in Gatsby's picture shows that he still cares and loves Daisy no matter what. Also that he still remembered her while they were separated for five years.

The Party Picture: The party picture represents how much people come to Gatsby's party, and he doesn't even know them. The only reason he throws these huge parties is to impress Daisy and hoping she will eventually come to his parties, and they will reunite.

JournalsLove is what i call it poem: We made up this poem cause it symbolizes the love and past between Daisy and Gatsby. It describes how their love was in the past, and how their love is now. It shows him telling her what he feels for her and that he loves her alot. Its a poem from Gatsby to Daisy about their love.

The Good/Bad times in the Past Journal: This journal was put on there because it explains how Daisy and Gatsby met, and what happen between them. It starts the day Gatsby was in Camp Taylor as a young officer and then it goes on with them meeting and then spending everyday together until it's time for him to be shipped to WW1. Its so sad huh!:(

Upon my Arrival: this journal was made because we figured we needed to express his loss and hurt for what had happened to Daisy. We explain in his voice that he is determined to win her back no matter what. He even goes to say his plan to get her back.

How it all Started Journal: This journal tells the audience how the Great Gatsby was created in the first place. It tells that Jay Gatsby was really James Gatz and Gatsby changed it when he met Dan Cody, who help him very much in his life. It explains the little obstacles that Gatsby had to go through to become what he is now, rich and successful. It all began when James Gatz ended, and the Great Jay Gatsby began.

Her Waited Arrival Journal: This journal explains how Gatsby really feels about Daisy and how important it is to him that his meeting with Daisy goes well. He is so nervous. His panic means that he is so scared that Daisy does not love him anymore.

If We Could Turn Back Time Journal: This journal explains how, even after Daisy had killed someone, he stays outside her house to ensure that she is safe. To protect her, he even says that he will take the blame for the accident. That is how much he loves her.

PassionsFor our first video 1920's Entertainment, we decided to put this up for a number of reasons. The girl you see singing in the beginning is a flapper. The dress she is wearing was very popular. Also the song she is singing was in a popular cartoon Betty Boop. The girls in the next few minutes are doing a popular style of dance, one that you would see at one of Gatsby's parties.

The next Video up called Janet d2's photo stream we made to show some of the things you might see at his house. The first picture is of a big crowd of people just like Jay Gatsby likes his parties. The second picture is of his house at night when its the busiest. The third and fourth are of extravagant foods that would be served. The last picture is of, once again, his house even though it came out blurry sorry about that.

Lastly the video at the top of the screen called Tour of Rob And Big's house. We couldn't find a video that didn't have sound but still had a tour, but finally we had to settle for that video. WE figured it would work as a tour of what Gatsby's house looked like before he moved in. It has lots of space to be and lots of different rooms.

Color Scheme

The gold represents Gatsby's royalty and his money. The pink color of the navigation bar represents flashy taste. For example the pink suit he wears to The Plaza his last day in New York. The journals alternate between a gold and purple color, again representing Gatsby's wealthy life.
